The Nebraska Junior Golf Association was formed in 2000 to give junior golfers their own identity under the NGA umbrella. Girls were incorporated into the program in 2001, thanks to a partnership with the Nebraska Women's Amateur Golf Association. NJGA members receive a USGA Handicap Index®, a bag tag, a divot tool, a Rules of Golf booklet, eligibility to compete in NJGA Championships and Events and information on national, state and local junior tournaments. NJGA members will also receive a subscription to the NJGA's quarterly e-newsletter.
An Advisory Board made up of representatives from the Nebraska Golf Association and Nebraska Women's Amateur Golf Association oversees the operations of the NJGA. Advisory Board members are:
