Nebraska Junior Golf Tour

The Nebraska Golf Association and the Nebraska PGA joined forces in 2009 to bring young golfers the state's premier junior golf organization - the Nebraska Junior Golf Tour (NJGT). The NJGT annually offers nearly 40 competitive golf events for junior golfers beginning at the age of seven continuing through the summer following a golfer's graduation from high school. The series of competitions will include tournaments for every level of golfer including premier tournaments for the more accomplished player.

THE NEBRASKA GOLF ASSOCIATION
The Nebraska Golf Association is a nonprofit organization that serves as the governing body for amateur golf in Nebraska. Founded in 1966, the NGA is dedicated to promoting the game of golf and serving its membership of over 150 clubs and more than 24,000 individual golfing members. In addition to conducting 9 statewide amateur championships and 7 USGA qualifiers, the NGA also offers a full-range of services to its members including: providing and administering the USGA's Golf Handicap and Information Network ("GHIN") service and system; issuing USGA Course, Slope & Pace of Play ratings for both member and non-member clubs; as well as conducting statewide educational seminars covering the aforementioned topics. THE NEBRASKA SECTION OF THE PGA
The Nebraska Section of the PGA of America is comprised of over 200 golf professionals representing over 100 facilities in Nebraska, the western 1/5 of Iowa (everything west of Highway 71) and a small portion of South Dakota.
